We are currently seeking a part-time self-employed Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work on the due diligence and project management we conduct as a key function of our mission.

Role Overview

We are seeking a self-employed individual to provide our team with part-time support in project management. There is the opportunity for this to evolve into an employed and full-time position.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will:

  • Work on international project files, following through with each in a timely and appropriate manner;
  • Communicate with project partners for the due diligence and monitoring of our projects in more than 50 countries around the world;
  • Verify partners’ compliance with requested documents, and track expenses for projects;
  • Maintain filing systems for efficient retrieval of information.

The successful candidate is:

  • Empathetic, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Highly organised, with strong project management skills;
  • Detail oriented, rigorous and reliable;
  • Able to work independently and multi-task;
  • Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written;
  • Collaborative and comfortable working in a small team environment;
  • Proficient in MS Office suite;
  • Open-minded, curious and willing to learn;
  • Aligned with our values of integrity, transparency, equity, and international solidarity;
  • Ideally experienced in managing international charitable projects.
