The goal of this project is to provide financial assistance to student-athletes from diverse backgrounds to enable full participation in a structured academic and ski racing program.

Context
Myriad Canada is working with the Green Mountain Valley School, Inc. (GMVS) on this project, a private, college-preparatory school located in Waitsfield, Vermont dedicated to developing well-rounded individuals through a combination of rigorous academic instruction and high-level athletic training. The school’s approach aims to strengthen both intellectual and physical capabilities while fostering core values such as discipline, responsibility, respect, initiative, commitment, and perseverance.
GMVS offers a dual curriculum that combines a demanding, individualized academic program rooted in the liberal arts tradition with structured athletic programming, particularly in ski racing, designed to reinforce resilience, balance, and personal growth. This integrated model supports students in becoming accomplished scholars, athletes, and engaged citizens.
However, the cost of attending a specialized boarding school such as GMVS continues to rise, creating significant financial barriers for many families. As a result, talented and motivated students may be unable to access these opportunities. Financial assistance is therefore critical to ensure equitable access, promote diversity within the student body, and support broader participation in a program that contributes to long-term educational and personal development.
Myriad Canada’s role is to carry out charitable activities across the globe in accordance with its charitable purposes. We control and monitor the use of funds and the progress of charitable activities to ensure that donations made to Myriad Canada have the greatest impact. As a member of the Myriad Alliance with offices in Canada, the US, Europe.
How to support this project?
By credit card: At the top right of this page, indicate the amount you wish to donate, and make the donation online by credit card. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes by e-mail just a few minutes after making the donation. It is simple and quick!
