Goals
The goal of this project is to expand a scholarship programme to support students from developing countries with limited financial means to access a world-class education in the Swiss Alps. Previous scholars have come from Sudan, Palestine, Somaliland, Bhutan, Cambodia, Kenya and the Navajo Nation.
Context
Myriad Canada is working with Aiglon College Association on this project, a Swiss non-profit organisation that owns Aiglon College, an independent boarding school for children from primary through to high school, focused on the holistic development of mind, body and spirit.
Founded in 1949 by John Corlette and located in Chesières in the Swiss Alps, the College provides boarding and day education to students from all nations and backgrounds between the ages of 7 and 19.
Myriad Canada’s role is to carry out charitable activities across the globe in accordance with its charitable purposes. We control and monitor the use of funds and the progress of charitable activities to ensure that donations made to Myriad Canada have the greatest impact. As a member of the Myriad Alliance with offices in Canada, the US, Europe, Asia and Australia, Myriad Canada has a vast international network and extensive practical expertise.
